The term ‘resilience’ is now widely accepted as a concept relating to the protection of critical functions of society and the ‘cognitive resilience’ term is very similar, only it plays out in the cognitive domain as opposed to the physical domain. It has to do with world views and interpretative schemata used by the news consumers to make sense of information. This study examines the individual, social and organizational factors affecting the incidence of cognitive resilience. The purpose of this article is to review the individual, social and organizational factors of resilience from a cognitive perspective, which is considered a pristine and new topic.
