چکیده
Introduction: Outsourcing means the transfer of part of the internal activities of the organization as well as the transfer of the right to decide on a contract basis. (Ruth, Brush & Ryu, 2015). The aim of this study was to identify the most important economic barriers to outsourcing sports facilities of public universities.
Methods: The present study was mixed research in terms of the research implementation process; that is, it was done quantitatively and qualitatively. For this purpose, the researcher studied qualitative data by studying the literature and background and theoretical foundations of the subject under study, as well as interviewing elites and experts. The physical education officials of public universities and physical education students from 120 universities were the statistical population of the study. Designed questionnaires were distributed and collected, and then data was analyzed with Lisrel and SPSS software.
Results: The significance level of the Friedman test showed that there was a significant difference between the rank of factors related to economic barriers (x2 = 195.99, p = 0.001). Therefore, these obstacles were prioritized based on the obtained rankings; including: "the existence of government budget and the university's lack of need for revenue generation" as the most important item among other components of the economic component and the items "purely commercial view of universities to outsource (lack of attention to quality and services and amount Tuition, etc.) and "lack of program and desire to generate income from university sports venues to encourage the private sector" were in the next ranks of this component.
Conclusion: Given that identifying economic barriers are of the most important priorities in facilitating the outsourcing of public university sports venues, solving this problem will greatly help to advance this.
