Introduction: Parents' parenting styles are among the factors affecting the growth of children's dimensions, but their effect on motor skills development has been less studied and researched. On the other hand, coronary conditions increase the presence of parents and children in the home environment, and the effect Has increased parenting styles on children. Therefore, this study seeks to investigate the role of parenting styles on the development of students' motor skills with respect to coronary conditions.
Methods: The present study is descriptive-correlational in terms of applied purpose and in terms of the data collection method. The statistical population of the present study consisted of all male middle school students in Tehran (13 to 14.5 years). In this study, 100 students aged 13 to 14.5 years were randomly selected from the north, south, east, and west of Tehran and studied. The sampling method was random. The Bronyx-Ozertsky (BOTMP) test of cognitive-motor skills was used to assess perceptual-motor skills, and the Bamrind parenting style questionnaire (PSI) (1972) was used to assess educational styles. To analyze the data, a regression analysis test was used through SPSS software version 24.
Results: The results showed that there is a significant relationship between parents 'absolute liberation education method and parents' rational authority training method with the development of perceptual-functional skills of middle school boys in Tehran, but between authoritarian parenting training method with the development of perceptual skills. There is no significant relationship between the performance of male middle school students in Tehran.
Conclusion: By observing the relationship between educational methods and perceptual-motor skills, it was found that the training method of parents' rational authority and the training method of absolute liberation have a stronger relationship with the development of motor skills, respectively.
